Diana Keough is a Pullitzer Prize-winning health journalist who recently co-founded ShareWIK, a website created to encourage a safe, user-based conversation about health issues. The site features useful information shared by health professionals told in an engaging and personal way.
Keough has worked for The Cleveland Plain Dealer, National Public Radio and PBS NewsNight Akron among other publications.
Want to join Miami journalism faculty for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 28 in Shriver 1809 with Diana Keough? RSVP by emailing Patti Newberry at email@example.com no later than March 25.
I plan to leave right around 6 p.m. Saturday after the conference ends, leaving enough time to get back to Oxford for dinner.
Questions? Email me, Amelia Carpenter, firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s all about who you know in terms of getting a job. This is a comfort-zone for networking! Meet all the regional professional journalists at the SPJ Regional Conference April 1-2 in northern Kentucky. Network hard. Play hard.
It’s ten days away. Registration for student members is $60 and $90 for non-member students. Deadline is March 25! Register here.
Let’s talk logistics:
I (Amelia) will be driving down Saturday, April 2 for the conference. Noelle Bernard and Andrew Bowman are in my car. I have room for 2 more! Andrew and I will be working on transportation for more students … check the minutes for updates later today!
